Katharina Seidl

Katharina Seidl is a Munich based typeface designer and typographer. She graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from the University of Teesside in 2009 where she had developed a special interest in typography. Besides working as a communication designer she was involved in different typographic events, such as TDC exhibitions, events by the TGM (Typographic Society of Munich) and the Granshan conferences. In 2015/16 she followed her passion for type and attended the MA Typeface Design at the University of Reading. Her first typeface Riwaya was awarded the third prize for Latin/Arabic typeface families at the Granshan Competition 2016.
